Because of the nature of Barton Court — a historic estate made up of several buildings and gardens — all weddings here are offered on a fully exclusive-use basis.
This ensures that each celebration sits comfortably within the setting, and that the estate can be enjoyed at its best.
For this reason, we now offer two clearly defined wedding options only: one intimate and midweek, the other large-scale and exceptional, taking place over a full weekend.
INTIMATE HOUSE WEDDINGS

Our Intimate House Weddings are designed for smaller celebrations that value atmosphere, privacy and a true sense of occasion.
Ceremonies take place in the Engine Room — an atmospheric space dressed with draping and chandeliers — before moving to the house and gardens for drinks and the wedding meal. This arrangement allows the day to flow naturally between spaces and gives you the opportunity to experience the full beauty of the estate, while preserving the character of the house itself.

FESTIVAL ESTATE WEDDINGS
Full estate takeover · Marquee wedding · Up to 200 guests
Festival Estate Weddings are large-scale, marquee-led celebrations, offered on a strictly limited basis each year.
These weddings involve an extended exclusive-use takeover of the entire Barton Court estate. A marquee or stretch tent is typically located in the Walled Garden to accommodate larger guest numbers for the ceremony and key elements of the celebration. Generous time is allowed for marquee build and breakdown, ensuring unhurried access for suppliers and a smooth, well-managed experience.
Festival Estate Weddings are best thought of as hosted events rather than standard weddings. For this reason, we host no more than five Festival Estate Weddings each year.

This includes 2 nights accommodation in the main house, the Coach House and The Hayloft altogether sleeping up to 32, plus the use of the Saw Mill, The Dutch Barn and exclusive use of the grounds and gardens.
Use of The Clock Tower for the weekend is our gift to the happy couple.
Because Barton Court is such a special and historic place, we have chosen to host only a limited number of weddings each year.
This allows us to continue to care for the centuries-old buildings and grounds so they can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Even more importantly, it means every wedding here has the space and time it deserves — never hurried, never overlapping, and never feeling like part of a production line.
By giving each celebration room to breathe, couples are able to shape a wedding with its own atmosphere, rhythm and sense of occasion, allowing the celebration to unfold in a way that feels entirely personal and truly unforgettable.
