Barton Court is a privately owned Georgian country estate on the western slopes of the Malvern Hills. With exclusive use of the house, barns and seven acres of grounds, your team has the whole place to itself — space to work, space to play, and somewhere to stay at the end of the day.

We work with ACF Events, who have been running team building and corporate events across the South West for over 35 years. They plan and run the activities; we look after the venue, the rooms and everything around them.

 Outdoors in the grounds

The lawns and gardens give teams room to get outside and get competitive. Popular choices include:

  • The Hunted — a military-style challenge of problem solving and physical tasks, with the team trying to stay one step ahead of the hunter

  • Soapbox Derby — teams design and build their own go-kart, then parade it in the finale for extra points

  • It's a Knockout — inflatable games and team races

  • Treasure Hunt — follow clues and complete challenges around the estate using a customised app

 Indoors in the barns

The Dutch Barn and the Saw Mill are fully refurbished, with wooden floors and underfloor heating, so indoor activities work in any season. Options include:

  • Imposters — a Traitors-style event in which the team has to find the saboteurs before they do too much damage

  • The Crystal Challenge — a mix of mental, physical and skill games

  • Master of Tasks — a run of daft and unexpected assignments, good for an evening as well as a conference break

  • Connections — a collaborative building challenge that works well for large groups
