CHELTENHAM RACE WEEK ACCOMMODATION
16–19 MARCH 2027
Barton Court offers elegant, spacious self-catering accommodation for guests attending the Cheltenham Festival 2027 who prefer comfort, space and tranquillity to crowded town-centre hotels.
Do Cheltenham Differently
Every March, over 200,000 visitors descend on Cheltenham for the Festival. Accommodation fills quickly, prices rise sharply and peaceful evenings can be hard to find.
Barton Court provides a thoughtful alternative. Located within easy reach of Cheltenham and close to the Malvern Hills, it allows you to enjoy the racing by day and return each evening to generous space, privacy and comfort..
HOW FAR IS BARTON COURT FROM CHELTENHAM RACECOURSE?
Barton Court is roughly 27 miles from Cheltenham Racecourse - typically around 50 minutes by car. Guests drive over or around the Malvern Hills and approach the racecourse from the north, avoiding the worst of the town-centre congestion.
A few practical notes from race-week guests:
Leave by 10.30am and the drive is easy; the racecourse's northern approaches move better than the town centre.
Prefer not to drive back after a long day? Local taxi firms know the festival run well — we're happy to share numbers and help you book ahead.
The champagne is cheaper in your own kitchen, and the evenings are quieter by some distance.
