The Location

Barton Court sits just below the western slopes of the Malvern Hills in Herefordshire, where the landscapes of three great counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire meet.

From here, guests are brilliantly placed to explore a wide variety of open hillsides, historic market towns and some of the most beautiful countryside in England

Where we are

From Barton Court you can step straight into the landscapes that have inspired composers, poets and walkers for generations.

The Malvern Hills rise just to the east, forming a dramatic ridge that separates Herefordshire from Worcestershire and offers sweeping views across the Severn Valley and the Welsh borders.

Have a look at our blog on some of the lesser known trails over the hills when you plan your trip. The sense of space you feel on the top of the hills is intoxicating.

But do not think that you have to be an athlete to enjoy the Malvern Hills. The trails are not just for the able-bodied. If you find walking difficult, you can still enjoy the majesty of the area. And, if you can’t walk at all, there are other options available.

Here are some accessibility friendly ideas for trips out.
