The Clock Tower
The Clock Tower is a beautiful restored 18th-century one bedroomed cottage, one of the buildings at the heart of the Barton Court Estate.
Secluded, characterful and cosy, detached bolthole offers a sense of being entirely away from the world - while still being easily connected to its surroundings.
The Sitting Room
The Clock Tower unfolds over two levels, with spaces designed for comfort, privacy and unhurried time together.
You step into a characterful sitting room that centres around a log burner.
It’s a welcoming, cosy place to return to after long walks or quiet days exploring the area.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is completely modern in the sense that it has all the appliances and gadgets that you need if you want to whip up relaxed meals during your stay.
Vintage fabrics and decorative items enrich its sense of history and make it fun as well as practical.
The back door opens onto your own private paved garden where you can sit and have your breakfast in the morning or a gin and tonic as the sun sets.
The Bedroom
Upstairs, the bedroom offers a peaceful retreat with views across the countryside to the Malvern Hills
It is furnished in true 18th century style: an antique sleigh bed has been upholstered in the fabric of the period but then updated with a comfy modern mattress to offer a restful night’s sleep.
The original clock housing is still high up in the ceiling. We no longer wind the clock up so that it doesn’t the peace
An ensuite cloakroom means no need to go down to the ground floor bathroom once you have retired.
